To be directly involved in a professional sport….

Many people would make some mighty big sacrifices to be involved in Major League baseball, National Football League or the National Basketball League. Some are there and dont see it. Their head got too big. They fed off the fame and glory. One such slide to shame is Tim Donaghy, former NBA referee.
Donaghy was sentenced to 15 months in prison for betting on NBA games that he directly had contact with. Shame is brought to himself and his family. A Brooklyn judge could have given him 33 months but because of his cooperation it was lightened.
What would you give to be THAT close to a professional sport?
